Porto Turistico di Buggerru is a marina located in the city of Buggerru, in the Sulcis-Iglesiente region. Buggerru is a popular resort which started its life as a mining center and which today is a major visitor attraction. If you drive along the coast, you will find numerous ruins, remains of wells and old machines, all witnessing a once flourishing mining in the region. The amazing natural landscape with cliffs and sandy beaches is best seen from atop the nearby Pranu Sartu plateau, making the area an ideal place for hiking, cycling or climbing.
