Marina di Cala Gavetta is a marina located in the principal island of an archipelago off the north-eastern tip of Sardinia, Isola-Maddalena. The island is famous for its beautiful beaches and rocky terrain. Several ancient ruins and fortifications are still left on the island, as the island has a long and interesting history, being inhabited since the prehistoric ages. The island is about relaxation, as there are only a few places to visit, such as Piazza Umberto I, the center point for all the activities on the island, Cala Francese, mainly known for its beautiful beaches and many coves, or Via Garibaldi, a commercial street with shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.
